NT government has failed to complete reviews in systemic racism pledged in 2021 | ABC News

In 2021, the Northern Territory government signed the the Aboriginal Justice Agreement, which represented a unified commitment to “identifying and eliminating systemic racism in government agencies.” Three years on, only one agency has been partially completed. Professor Chris Cunneen, who designed the framework for the review, says the process has been ‘extraordinarily slow’ and confirms a lack of faith in government-led solutions felt by many First Nations individuals.
